There have been endless rumors surrounding the state of their 10-year marriage in recent weeks, but Nicole Kidman seems to be putting the negativity to rest by discussing what actually has made her relationship with Keith Urban so successful the past decade.

At a special screening of her upcoming film Lion at the AFI Fest in L.A. over the weekend, Kidman, 49, opened up about the success of her marriage to People, saying that the only thing she and Urban needed to make things work were love and like for each other.

"Just love. Just love each other, lavish each other with love," she said. "Also we just happen to like each other too, That works."

Kidman and Urban have been the subjects of endless rumors that their marriage was in trouble in recent weeks, after a report claimed they hadn't been seen together-or even seen each other-in two months time. Not long after they attended both the InStyle Awards and CMA Awards together, and even celebrated Urban's 49th birthday together.

However, rumors still persisted, and even claimed that Kidman was having a "really difficult time" because she was constantly afraid her marriage was going to implode any day, and that there would be nothing she could do to stop it.

"She absolutely doesn't want her marriage to end-and Lord knows she's fought hard to make it work-but she and Keith have had so many problems now she fears she's walking a tightrope with him, and they could topple off it any moment," sources said at the time.

Urban himself has also since furtively denied the rumors of trouble, even calling them crap during a recent interview.

"People make up the most insane crap, and we kind of just roll with it," he said. "It does [annoy me], I want to live out life together, and the fact we live somewhere where we're not being photographed all the time-it makes it possible for people to make up that stuff because you're not always there to defend it."
