Keith Urban is finally addressing and speaking out against rumors his 10-year marriage to Nicole Kidman is in trouble.

After weeks of rumors that their marriage was on the rocks because they hadn't seen each other in months, and Kidman was allegedly walking a "tightrope" because she was afraid things were about to fall apart, Urban has opened up and said the rumors are all untrue, and likely started because he and Kidman live their lives entirely out of the spotlight, splitting their time mostly between New Zealand and Nashville.

"People make up the most insane crap, and we kind of just roll with it," he said. "It does [annoy me], I want to live our life together, and the fact we live somewhere where we're not being photographed all the time-it makes it possible for people to make up that stuff because you're not always there to defend it."

He also said that they also just try to get on with their lives regardless of the rumors.

As a part of that, Urban admitted that while he is on tour, he makes sure to call his wife every night, and does so during his encore so he can let her know how the show went and check in on things with her and their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.

"I call her in the encore every single night," he said. "I just say hi and tell her how the show was."

The pair dealt with rumors because they had reportedly not been seen together in public in two months, but they quickly attempted to put them to rest by making a public appearance together at the InStyle Awards, where Kidman was honored with a Style Icon Award, and then taking to social media to share photos from Urban's birthday. They also made an appearance together last week at the CMA Awards, where Urban was nominated.
