No Man's Sky is a game that was incredibly overhyped around the months of July and August of this very year until it came out on August. Afterwards, when people actually got to play the game itself, they found that they expected too much.

Long story short, No Man's Sky was not as loved as people thought it would be. That caused a bit of controversy and a cold shoulder given to the game up until now when its very first patch is released.

Now a patch is a patch. It contains all the fixes and builds that balances a game nicely. However, according to IGN, this new 1.1 Patch adds many new features to this game and one of it is entire base building. This is why this patch is called the Foundation patch.

In terms of full details of the patch, VG 24/7 has released an entire long and beautiful list which has every single detail imaginable for the update of the game. It is impossible to go into every single detail consistently but it is possible to summarize them.

First off, there is the category of general gameplay which of course the foundation update resides the most in. It includes the base building part along with many fixes and improvements. Secondly, there is the localization and the User Interface update which fixes the visual dynamics.

Then, the individual updates go towards PC as well as PS4 and improve them individually. There are also generation updates which go towards the game's mechanics. Similarly, there are creatures, atmospherics and terrain updates which all follow the same dynamics.

There has been a massive improvement in the visuals since it has one of the longest lists. The game's concept of space has been improved too along with space combat and freighters. Finally, the audio itself has been updated massively.

The great thing is that these new features could improve No Man's Sky and bring it back up! It is available to download right now.
