Leah Messer was recently accused of being "scary skinny" after sharing a photo of her fit frame on Instagram.

In the years since fans have known the Teen Mom 2 star, she has typically been on the smaller side and while she appeared to gain a substantial amount of weight after her 2015 stint in rehab, she is now back down to size -- and shouldn't be criticized for it.

As she promoted Flat Tummy Tea on Instagram, Messer shared a photo of herself with her black tank top rolled up and days later, OK! Magazine labeled her "scary skinny" and suggested her fans were in shock after seeing the photo below.

"The photo comes shortly after Leah shared photos from her wild weekend filled with nights out with her gal pals," the magazine told readers on Monday.

The outlet continued on, claiming the "troubled" reality star has gotten her life back on track in the year since she went to rehab following months of rumors claiming she was addicted to drugs. While Messer claimed she was not struggling with addiction but rather a mental illness, rumors continued to swirl and comments made by her ex-husbands, Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert, didn't help.

As fans of the series will recall, both Simms and Calvert spoke of Messer's potential drug problem during past episodes of the MTV reality series.
