Leah Messer shared big news with her Instagram fans and followers earlier this week.

After announcing plans for college months ago, the Teen Mom 2 star took to social media, where she revealed she had gotten into West Virginia State University.

"Helloooo WVSU! @wvstateu I am honored and so excited," Messer revealed to fans earlier this week.

Messer had previously told fans, via In Touch Weekly, "I always said I would wait until all my girls were in school and then I would go. It's finally that time to finish what I want to pursue in my career and start the college life as a mom-of-three," she explained.

Over one year ago, Messer went to rehab in Arizona where she claimed to be treating issues with anxiety and depression. However, because off her questionable behavior on Teen Mom 2 and comments from her former husbands, Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert, many believed she was struggling with an addiction to drugs.

During a scene from the show's sixth season last year, Simms and Calvert were seen sitting down to discuss what Calvert labeled as a prescription pill problem and during their chat, Simms appeared to be concerned for his twins with Messer, Ali and Aleaah, 6, while Calvert was concerned about their 3-year-old daughter, Adalynn.

Leah Messer and her family, including her ex-husbands, have been filming for the upcoming season of Teen Mom 2 for the past several months. Thus far, no premiere date has been set.
