Carly Rae Jepsen planted a sweet kiss on boyfriend Matthew Koma Sunday at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Pop sensation Jepsen took home the award for Top Digital Songs Artist at the awards ceremony and received eight nominations.

Jepsen, 27, met Matthew Koma, 25, while working on her second album Kiss, released September 2012. The two have been dating ever since.

Jepsen said:

"I would definitely work with my boyfriend Matthew Koma again. Believe it or not we're like super-professional when we get into the studio together...I think because of how we met, we pop right back into that professional behavior."

The Canadian singer and songwriter became a breakout star in 2012 with Call Me Maybe. The five-time platinum Call Me Maybe sold more than 9.1 million singles worldwide and was No. 1 on the charts in more than 37 countries. It spent a record-breaking nine weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100.

Brooklyn-born singer-songwriter Koma released his pop single One Night in April 2013. The song is off his upcoming debut album Arcadia, which will be released later this year via Cherrytree/Interscope.

Koma said the songwriting of artists including Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Elvis Costello inspired his work.

Jepsen unveiled her new single Take a Picture on May 15 during the American Idol season finale.

She was a contestant on Canadian Idol, in which she came in third in the series' fifth season.

Jepsen recently released Tonight I'm Getting Over You as the third single from her latest album Kiss.

Jepsen co-wrote the song with Max Martin among others. Nicki Minaj collaborated with Jepsen on the remix version.
