Over the past eight seasons, the Detroit Pistons only manage to make the NBA playoffs twice. And in those two NBA postseason trips, they were swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. During those woeful years, they have a combined 255-385 win-loss record.

This season, the Pistons are making a push to reach the playoffs. With a 14-16 win-loss record, they are fifth in the Central Division and tenth in the Eastern Conference. They lost four of their last five games.

And one of the Pistons potential young stars is struggling early this season. Now on his second NBA season, Stanley Johnson only averages 3.9 points per game after averaging 8.1 points during his rookie campaign. And according to iTech Postt, there is a possibility that the Pistons will trade Johnson before the trade deadline on February next year.

Now at 20 years old, Johnson still has a lot of potential to be a great NBA player. But with his minutes went down with the Pistons this season, it might be better if he plays for a team that will give him more playing time.

In other news, a rumor is once again circulating around the web about a possible trade involving Nerlens Noel. According to Sports Illustrated, Noel could fit in well in Portland Trailblazers. And in exchange, the Blazers could send Allen Crabbe and a protected first-round draft pick to Philadelphia 76ers.

The Sixers are loaded with big men with Joel Embiid, Jahlil Okafor and Nerlens Noel fighting for frontcourt minutes. Because of this, a good move might be trading one of these potential young stars. And Noel doesn't seem like enjoying his stay in Philly.

Noel is averaging 10.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in his career. But this season, he is only averaging 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 0.3 blocks. Aside from that, Noel's minutes dropped from 29.3 minutes last season to 8.3 minutes this season.

The Blazers reached the second round of the NBA playoffs last year. Because of that, expectations are high for the Blazers this season. But they are quite struggling early on.

With a 13-17 win-loss record, they are currently 8th in the competitive Western Conference. They lost three consecutive games and experienced a crushing 45-point defeat in the hands of the Golden State Warriors.

The Blazers have one of the best backcourt duos in Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum. But what the Blazers lack is a capable scorer down low. They also need a stronger defensive guy who could protect the paint.

Noel could be the player that the Blazers need. He can score well from the inside and can also rebound well. With his size and athleticism, he can block shots and can also defend well from the perimeter.

Noel also spent his entire career playing for one of the worst teams in the NBA in the past few years. If he plays for a playoff contender like the Blazers, he might be more motivated to improve his game.
