In the song, Andy Samberg, Jorma Taccone and Akiva Schaffer rap about the pros and cons of living a married life. Schaffer brags about having enough money to pay for his child's diapers, repeating "I got that diaper money," in the song's chorus.
Taccone, aka "J-Orgus," raps about having sex with his wife but only when she allows it. Samberg, aka "Young Sandwich" brags about owning a grave plot off the highway. The song is similar in content to another one of their songs YOLO, which satirizes the "You Only Live Once" phrase by rapping about living a cautious life.
The band debuted on sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live in 2005, when Samberg was a cast member and Schaffer and Taccone were writers. One of their first songs, Lazy Sunday became a viral video sensation, getting over 5 million hits on YouTube.
The Lonely Island continued to churn out songs and videos for SNL until the 2010-2011 season when Schaffer and Taconne left the show.
Some of the band's biggest hits include D--k in a Box, featuring Justin Timberlake, J*zz in My Pants and I'm on a Boat, featuring T-Pain.
The band sold 48,000 copies of their first album, Incredibad, in its first week. It debuted at No. 13 on the Billboard charts and in 2011 the band's second album, Turtleneck & Chain, debuted at No. 3 on the list, selling 68,000 copies in its first week.
The Lonely Island will be releasing The Wack Album on June 7, 2013.
