Samsung electronics is intended to release another flagship device which might be named as Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus. The said device from the South Korean tech giant might mark the end of the Note flagship series.

Forbes has learned that the Samsung Galaxy S8 might arrive featuring a 5-inch display package, while the new Galaxy S8 Plus will boast a 6-inch display. Samsung's decision produce a bigger Galaxy S8 Plus is somewhat interesting because the company has always let the Note line get the spotlight from the S line by being the "big" phone.

With the Note 7 last year many have started to observe that the lines between the two lines are already clouding. Now with the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus going entirely into Note screen size category, along with the Note line's seriously blotted brand name many may conclude that there will be no Note 8 to be unveiled next year.

When it comes with the specs, University Herald reported that aside from the 6-inch display the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus might also feature a curved display. Another interesting speculation is the removal of bezels in the screens. The Galaxy S8 Plus may be packed with an enormous 8GB of memory. It may be engineered with a Snapdragon 835 SoC processor. As for the stylus pen support, it is not yet established but it is supposed that Samsung is currently working on that. Nonetheless, the Galaxy S8 plus might not sport a digital assistant because it might be in conflict with Google Assistant.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus might be launched in April 2017 during an event in New York, but the price, however, is unknown for now. Moreover, it is yet to announce whether there would be an upcoming iteration of the Galaxy Note series or the release of Galaxy S8 Plus might be the end for the flagship handset.
