On the first week of February, ABC's medical romantic drama series, Grey's Anatomy, is going to return on televisions, fresh from the holiday break. Loyal fans and viewers of the show are now beyond excited over the events that are going to happen on the upcoming episodes.

The recent episode ended with Alex (Justin Chambers) to turn himself and taking the plea deal to save Jo (Camilla Luddington) on her marital problems. It can be recalled that Jo told Alex that she can't be a witness for his case in which he was wrongly accused and charged because her estranged abusive husband might know of her location.

But, according to a recent report from TV Guide, Jo's husband might appear on the upcoming episodes this season. Fans of the series have actually not yet seen the character, so if ever he does appear, it has been speculated that this will be heartbreaking for Jo and will change the course of the character's life on the series.

Additionally, Luddington, who portrays the character, revealed in an interview that Jo's husband might really appear but on the final part of this season. She added that the scenario could likely happen on the part where Alex and Jo's relationship would finally be stable, and her estranged husband's appearance would complicate the situation.

Meanwhile, according to International Business Times, fans are going to see Maggies' (Kelly McCreary) mom on an episode. The last time fans have heard of Maggie's adoptive parents was when they were getting divorced. This season, viewers will see her as she comes to the hospital for a visit.

Actress LaTanya Richardson Jackson will portray the character of Maggie's mother, Diane. Details about why Diane decides to visit the hospital has not been disclosed yet, but this is going to be one of the scenarios that fans are gonna have to look forward once the show returns.

Grey's Anatomy season 13 episode 10 airs on February 2, 2017 on ABC.
