There's rumour that Sony might also choose to skip their weekly announcement and reveal more details about their PlayStation plus February 2017 lineup on Monday, Jan. 30 instead. Taking into consideration that Sony has been releasing the news on Wednesdays for the past few months, Jan. 25 seems ideal for the big announcement.

It's worth noting that PlayStation Plus free games all arrive simultaneously and usually includes a couple of games each for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita platforms, reports Express.

In more news, the PS4 release date for the highly awaited Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy got leaked at a Brazilian online store late last year. According to the listing, the platformer video game compilation is scheduled to arrive on Feb. 28.

The aforementioned date did not seem true to quite a few Crash fans with many pointing out that it would match with the launch of Horizon: Zero Dawn. The exact release date of Crash Bandicoot for PlayStation Plus will be announced at E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2017, which kicks off June 13 in Los Angeles.

According to PlayStation Universe, the games which are expected to be included in the roster, namely Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China, LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham, Gravity Rush Remastered, Alienation and Shadow Complex Remastered. The source also mentioned that Ubisoft could be using Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China to boost the sales of the other two Assassin's Creed games which take place in India and Russia.
