The season 2 finale of NBC's SMASH aired with a two-episode special on Sunday.

In the first episode, titled Nominations (episode 16), Tom crosses a Tony voter; Ivy deals with troubling news and Derek's past affects everyone involved with the Broadway show Hit List that the lead characters are in, according to NBC.

During part-two - Tonys (episode 17) - The Tony Awards take place and everyone eagerly awaits the results. Hit List is nominated for several awards in the same categories as the show's number one rival, Bombshell. Rosie O'Donnell, Bernadette Peters and other celebrities make a special surprise appearance. Here are a few other spoilers to expect in the two-hour finale:

-A gay male character kisses another male character that is straight and it gets reciprocated
-One of the stars of Hit List finds out she's pregnant
-Someone gets arrested

 everal bombshells take place in the preview clip to the finale - Ivy learns two pieces of troubling news, one of which is that Karen revealed she slept with Derek for her role in Hit List.

In the beginning of the teaser, Derek, Anna and Karen are sitting together in a restaurant and he is so upset about something that he fires Anna. When he tells her she no longer has the part, she yells, "Derek, this is my job!"

"This is my career. You'll get another job," he replies. Just as he leaves, Ivy arrives.

Anna storms up to Ivy, introduces herself and announces "Derek just fired me," then asks her, "he fired you too after the workshop last year, is that right? "

Ivy reples, "that's not exactly how that happened," and Anna asks the following series of questions: "Is it because you stopped sleeping with him? I'm sorry Karen told me the story, ok?...That he wanted to sleep with (Karen) she said no but then you did and that's how you got the part, right?"

"Is that what Karen said? What else did she tell you?" Ivy asks while visibly upset.

Anna explained the reason for the questioning: "I'm not blaming you. It's Derek that's doing something wrong and I'm trying to stop him from doing it again."

Ivy becomes so upset by the reveal that she immediately walks over to Karen to confront her. She tells her, "I thought we were going to be adults about this...you had no right telling anyone that I slept with Derek to get a part or anything else!"

"Everyone already knows," Karen tells her. "if it's biting you in the a** it's on you."

"You play this naive just got off the bus routine to get what you want, deep down you're just as calculating as the next person," iVy tells her. "I'm glad Hit List made it to Broadway because the only thing better than getting a Tony is beating you to get it....see you on the red carpet."

After Karen walks away from her, Ivy gets a phone call and when she answers it, she learns more troubling news.

The two-hour series and season 2 finale of SMASH begins at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
