After the release of "Halo Wars 2" Beta, 343 Industries decided to change some things after hearing the players' feedback. But before that, the video game company revealed that the physical PC version of the game will be canceled.

In January, 343 Industries teased the coming of the physical version of "Halo Wars 2" for Windows 10 PC in partnership with THQ Nordic. However, there are some changes of plans as Microsoft decided to put its sole attention making the said material available for retail in Europe.

"THQ Nordic is a great partner and they are working with us to ensure this transition remains smooth for our customers," 343 Industries explained, per Attack of the Fanboy. As most of the video game enthusiasts today moved to digital gaming, this might not be a smart move for the company to release a physical version of "Halo Wars 2" worldwide.

However, the game enthusiasts can still enjoy the digital version of "Halo Wars 2" for Xbox One and PC. In fact, there will still be a disc edition for Xbox One for those players who still want to collect CDs.

Meanwhile, after 343 Industries revealed that beta version of "Halo Wars 2," the video game developer unveiled on its weekly blog post that it is going to make some "balance changes and improvements." It is going to lessen the "Locust and Bloodfuel Locust DPS, health and shield values" as an answer to the game tester players' feedback.

Some said that the Locust in "Halo Wars 2" is overpowered. Now, 343 Industries made improvements with others like Scarab can fight from closer range as well as the game's loading time. It also made a number of bug fixes and developments for multiplayer server reliability and much more, GameSpot reported.

The said changes will be seen in the final output of "Halo Wars 2" that is set to be released on Feb. 21. 343 Industries, too, revealed that the new game's players can acquire up to 10 Blitz card packs for the upcoming game.
