Jessica Simpson wants to get married to fiancé Eric Johnson after the birth of their second child, Us Weekly reported Thursday.

Simpson, 32, is said to be anxious to marry the father of her children after she gives birth. She is reportedly due to deliver a boy in July and would like to be married soon after. The magazine said she was ready to make her relationship with Johnson official before another child was born. Johnson proposed to the fashion maven in 2010.

A source said that Simpson made her feelings known at her April baby shower.

"Jessica said, 'Let's have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another one!'" the source said.

The insider added that Simpson was eager to shed the pounds she has gained during her second pregnancy. The Weight Watchers spokeswoman is more conscious about her body as she reportedly gained 70 pounds with her daughter, Maxwell. Simpson is said to be getting assistance from a personal chef who cooks up calorie-conscious food at her new $11.5 million home in Hidden Hills, Calif.

"The chef is there all day," a second insider said. "Jessica eats things like egg whites and sausage. It's healthier."

If Simpson and Johnson do marry later this year, it will be the second marriage for both. Simpson was previously wed to Nick Lachey from 2002 to 2005. Lachey admitted that the two were no longer on speaking terms after an appearance on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on May 7. He said he had not spoken to his ex in six years. Lachey, who is now married to Vanessa Minnillo, also shared that he no longer watched Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica, the MTV reality TV show that starred him and his former wife.

"I have not. As you can imagine, that's not popular viewing in my house. We don't sit around as a family and watch the old DVDs," he said.
