So how exactly is Gwen Stefani dealing with dating Blake Shelton and also coaching alongside him on The Voice?

How will Stefani's relationship with Shelton affect her presence on the upcoming season of The Voice? Apparently she will be just fine, according to the singer herself.

"[Working with Blake made me] nervous at first. I was like, 'Wait, is this going to be awkward? How am I going to act?' It's just natural," Stefani said in an interview with The Today Show. She gushed that Shelton was "the greatest guy ever," adding, "It's just so fun. It's so easy and comfortable."

It's a mutually beneficial working relationship, Stefani said. "We actually do help each other, and I've learned a lot about country music -- just in the last year -- through him."

Indeed, Stefani recorded a country-tinged duet with Shelton on his song "Go Ahead and Break My Heart". The pair performed the song live for the first time on The Voice stage, and Stefani joined Shelton this past Friday in concert to perform the song.

Stefani's relationship with the other two coaches is strong as well, adding, "Alicia Keys is just so magical. Adam [Levine] and I, we've known each other now for a while."

Even if Stefani has a good relationship with all of her fellow Voice coaches, she'll have to get into competitive mode very soon. Stefani has coached two previous seasons and has only gotten one contestant to the finale: Jeffrey Austin in season 9, who came in fourth place. Meanwhile, Shelton has won the show five times (seasons 2, 3, 4, 7 and 11) while Levine has won three times (seasons 1, 5 and 9). Keys just joined as a coach in season 11, where she got Wé McDonald all the way to third place.

The Voice season 12 premieres Monday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The show will continue to air in this timeslot for the rest of the TV season, as well as Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
