New exciting teasers for the next year's "Star Wars Episode 9" movie have been revealed on the latest casting call. And judging by what was announced, it seems like there is a chance some new lead characters may get introduced.

The casting directors in charge for "Star Wars Episode 9" will soon set up an audition for actors for the new lead and supporting roles, according to MovieCastingCall. Those who will participate must be legally eligible to work in the entertainment industry in London and United Kingdom, the post continued.

Because of the casting call, some fans couldn't help but wonder if either one of the lead stars in the film series won't make out in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi." GamesRadar speculated that Rey (Daisy Ridley), Finn (John Boyega), Poe (Oscar Isaac) or Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) may not make it in "Star Wars Episode 9."

It should be noted that this is just a speculation based on the casting call for "Star Wars Episode 9," and it is in no way official. That being said, fans are strongly advised to take this one with a tiny pinch of salt.

Aside from the casting call, the post also revealed when the production for "Star Wars Episode 9" will begin. As written on MovieCastingCall, everything is set to take off sometime in July 2017. No official word, unfortunately, for the specific date.

The casting call for "Star Wars Episode 9" may come off as a total surprise to all the fans. It is mainly because its second trilogy installment, "Star Wars: The Last Jedi," is still far from its much-awaited premiere. More importantly, Lucasfilm and Disney have yet to release any official details about the eighth installment, especially its trailer.

There some speculations, however, about when its trailer - or perhaps its teaser clip - might get released. Fans strongly suggest that the "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" teaser trailer may get featured at the "Star Wars" Celebration event in April, Enstarz reported.

More news about the matter should emerge soon. "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" is set to hit theaters on Dec. 15, 2017. Its follow-up film, "Star Wars Episode 9," isn't due to be out until May 23, 2019.
