There are a lot of rumors surrounding "Vikings" Season 5 and its character's lives in the hit History Channel TV series. One of the rumors it has in store for its viewers is Ubbe (Jordan Patrick Smith) going through a rough time in the hands of Bishop Heahmund played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

More "Vikings" season 5 information is given in the hands of Show creator Michael Hirst in a report by Christian Today. Hirst stated that the stakes are high as the Norsemen are in a power struggle to fight for vast lands.

Michael Hirst further stated that "Vikings" season 5 will open on the concept on how the Norsemen will behave if they already conquered a great deal of land in England. "These people are playing for possession of the known world, it's not like a little local fight - these are huge territories," Hirst said.

Meanwhile, it is believed that "Vikings" season 5 will show Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick) and Harland (Peter Franzen) will face off to take control. Lagertha is seen all through the series that the Shield-Maiden wants power over everything, but this will be hard as Harland is not typical Viking to be dealt with.

Furthermore, IBTimes reports that Heahmund is expected to be one of the main antagonists for "Vikings" season 5 along with Harald. The recent sneak peek shows Ubbe surrounded with Heahmund men and torturing the son of Ragnar. In the clip, the Bishop has his hands full with Ubbe and time will tell if the character survives this onslaught.

The preview for "Vikings" season 5 also shows what happened to Floki as the character was seen in the last season washed up on a shore after a storm. It is believed that Floki might be on the shores of Iceland when real-life historical events wrote that a man named HrafnaFloki Vilgeroarson the first Norseman to discover Iceland.

"Vikings" season 5 is expected to debut on the History Channel in November this year, but the network has not yet confirmed an exact premiere date. The series has always had a nine-month break before returning to the TV screens, so fans can only wait for the TV series for now.
