"Kingdom Hearts 3" has been a long due game title for its fans all over the world. The game developer, Square Enix, is determined to keep fans interested in a new screenshot with the protagonist, Sora featuring a new transformation.

Mic reports that "Kingdom Hearts 3" developer released a new image of what seems to be Sora wielding its iconic weapon, the Keyblade. However, the Keyblade has a new iteration of some sorts, having a new look and powers.

The screenshot for "Kingdom Hearts 3" was unveiled at the Monaco Anime Game International Conference 2017 and it shows Sora transforming the Keyblade into a new type of Heartless. Game director Tetsuya Nomura said that the Keyblade can transform into a lot of things and it is expected to do so in the entirety of the game.

'Kingdom Hearts 3' Release Date

"Kingdom Hearts 3" was supposedly released this month, but according to game director, Tetsuya Nomura, Square Enix is still in deep production process until now. It will be a while when fans of the game title can see an official trailer or photos of the Disney-inspired game title.

Gematsu reports that Tetsuya Nomura admitted "Kingdom Hearts 3" has a different development process than the other game titles Square Enix has done before. "Production is progressing on unannounced worlds, in a state that we cannot show them off" Tetsuya Nomura said.

Meanwhile, information about "Kingdom Heart 3" last year was hard to find due to the game director being silent and Square Enix as well. Also, the game developers wanted to focus more on "Final Fantasy XV" to make a release this year since 30 years has past when the game title was released for the consoles.

For now, "Kingdom Hearts 3" has yet to have an official release date, but gamers can still enjoy "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: The Final Chapter Prologue" on the PS4. The game title was released in 2002 and since then, gamers had been hooked by its unique story-telling and gameplay.
