Rockstar Games' next franchise installment, "Red Dead Redemption 2," is set for release this year but the details about it are still shrouded in mystery. Because of that, some fans have now turned to the rumor mill to get an idea of what they can expect in the sequel. And others think that the developer should take a few things from its "Grand Theft Auto V" title and apply it to the next game.

One of the most notable aspects that Rockstar should apply on "Red Dead Redemption 2" from its "GTA V" title is the storytelling element. According to Game Revolution, the developer must make the storyline interesting in the game sequel. This aspect was the selling point of the fifth "GTA" game, especially on the trailer with Michael's narration.

Another aspect that the developer should take from "GTA V" is the multiple protagonist systems. The fifth franchise installment offers three different perspectives in the main narrative that gives variety to the players. It could also make "Red Dead Redemption 2" less boring, particularly for the ones who have only just started playing the franchise.

The combat system could also use a bit of tweaking in "Red Dead Redemption 2." As what noted on RDR2, this aspect could certainly use some more improvements. Rockstar's "GTA V" only offers the battle system where players must find cover and do an instant headshot locking and nothing more.

Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that these details would get improved or included in "Red Dead Redemption 2." Rockstar has yet to make any official announcements the information about its upcoming game sequel.

That being said, it's highly advisable for the fans to take these with a grain of salt and consider it as mere rumors or speculations. More news about "Red Dead Redemption 2" should emerge in the coming months, prior to the Fall 2017 timeframe.
