He also said that "Attack on Titan" season 2 will also reveal the importance of backbone characters like Krista and Ymir. These two characters will be key players in the plot.

Koizuka Masashi and Araki Tetsuro, who are the show's directors, also hinted that Ymir and Krista will give the story some meaning. They also hinted that the animation quality will be top notch and that fans will get to see more horses.

A lot of fan speculation is going on about the Beast Titan that was shown in the trailer. The beast titan seems to understand human emotions and language, and "Attack on Titan" season 2 rumors suggest that the beast titan is in fact, another human titan. Some rumors claim that this titan knows Eren Yeager and has heard about him.
