After months of speculations and rumor reports, Bungie has now finally confirmed the existence of the highly awaited multiplayer first-person shooter video game sequel, "Destiny 2." Fans have of course been expecting that the sequel will be coming out this year, but this will be the first time that the developers themselves have confirmed that it is in fact on the way.

As per a report from Cinema Blend, Bungie also included a rather humorous new teaser trailer that sees the return of "Firefly" star Nathan Fillion and his Cayde-6 character. The trailer itself shows Cayde-6 seemingly inside a bar telling the "bartender" a story about one of his many exciting battles. However, as the camera zooms out, it is revealed that the character is actually in the middle of a war and just decided to rest a bit inside a ruined building housing what was left of an old bar.

According to WWG, the trailer, titled "Last Call," seems to hint at an entirely different mood for the upcoming sequel. The original "Destiny" video game had a more serious and action-packed atmosphere, but it seems like this might not necessarily be the case for "Destiny 2."

Additionally, the same report further points out that the teaser trailer seems to have confirmed that The Last City may indeed be destroyed within the storyline of the upcoming sequel. Fans have been speculating that this may indeed be the case and the trailer only serves to back up their claims. Bungie's latest teaser image for "Destiny 2" has also been taken as another sign that the Last City may indeed be destroyed.

The game's developers have announced that they will be unveiling a longer full reveal trailer video for "Destiny 2" tomorrow, March 30. Bungie has yet to confirm when the game will officially be released, but it is expected to arrive sometime around September.
