The CW's superhero action-adventure sci-fi drama series, "Supergirl" season 2 has a few weeks left until it returns on the small screens for the eighteenth episode. Regardless of this, avid fans and viewers of the series are still very much excited about what the upcoming episode will be all about and how the different characters will get away with trouble this time.

On the previous episode of "Supergirl" season 2, Melissa Benoist's Kara was featured getting attacked by some alien bounty hunters. According to TV Fanatic, it was previously speculated that the bounty hunters have come to Earth to take down Kara alone. However, Chris Wood's character, Mon-El suspected that his parents were the one who sent them for him to leave the planet. His suspicion was later confirmed when they interrogated one of the aliens through J'onn J'onzz's (David Harewood) telepathic abilities.

On the upcoming episode of "Supergirl" season 2, another set of action-packed scenes is going to be shown. The eighteenth episode is reportedly going to feature the appearance of Jack Speer, the former lover of Katie McGrath's character, Lena Luthor. On the official trailer released by the network, it was revealed that Jack is going to have some tension between him and the show's main character, Kara.

Additionally, according to Entertainment Weekly, the upcoming eighteenth episode of "Supergirl" season 2 is reportedly going to highlight Kara as a journalist. One of the showrunners, Andrew Kreisberg, mentioned that this scene will be one of the most anticipated because it rarely happens on every superhero action series that the main character is a journalist.
