The Prison Break revival is officially here, so here's some info on how you can watch the premiere on Fox and stream it online.
After eight years off the air, Prison Break is back with a new limited event series, following in the wake of revivals for series like The X-Files, Full House, Gilmore Girls and more. The new series features the return of Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, Dominic Purcell as his brother, Lincoln Burrows and Sarah Wayne Callies as Sara, Michael's wife.
"In the new series, filmed on location in Morocco, clues surface that suggest a previously thought-to-be-dead Michael may be alive. Lincoln and Sara, Michael's wife until he was presumed dead, reunite to engineer the biggest escape ever, as three of Fox River State Penitentiary's most notorious escapees, Sucre [Amaury Nolasco], T-Bag [Robert Knepper] and C-Note [Rockmond Dunbar], are pulled back into the action," says the Fox synopsis.
Reviews for the Prison Break revival have been mixed thus far. Some critics suggest that the show is still an entertaining watch even for those who haven't caught up, while others aren't exactly thrilled by the 2017 reboot.
"It's packed full of great action and enough fun twists and turns to intrigue even those who aren't totally caught up," writes Newsday. "Plus, the performances are strong all around, making it easy to get invested in the characters again."
Meanwhile, Entertainment Weekly writes, "The prison itself is a dull, unimaginative setting that doesn't offer much in terms of facilitating a conceptually interesting escape plot full of fresh ideas or interesting complications. This, in turn, diminishes Michael."
The Prison Break revival begins Tuesday night at 9/8c on Fox. If you cannot watch the show on television but still want to watch it with everyone else, you can live stream it at Fox.com. You can also live stream it through SlingTV in select markets.
