We've seen Tamar Braxton have several fallouts with her sisters on WeTV's Braxton Family Values and it looks like a turning point has officially been created despite the drama we saw with them this season of the show.

Braxton said she has learned the hard way of what giving unsolicited advice to her loved ones could cost.

"Well, I didn't know I gave unsolicited advice as much as I did," she told Billboard magazine recently. "I thought it was okay because I'm the youngest and I can say what I want to my sisters. But no. These are grown women you have to respect, and I didn't want to hurt my sister's' feelings anymore. So I had to really take a look at myself."

Braxton added that she has certainly matured in recent days.

"I've done some growing up," she said. "Musically, it's definitely become easier to be introspective and bring it all out. I know who I am as a woman and I'm not being ashamed. I've been through a lot of things and I talk about it on this record."

Interestingly enough, one thing she talks about is her parents' divorce. Her mother, Evelyn Braxton, filed for divorce once it was known that her father, Michael Braxton, Sr., had been cheating for years.

Her latest single, My Man, talks about a woman who has been cheated on and she used a vintage photo of her parents as the cover art for the single.

"It happened to me too, with one of my girlfriends," she said. "Except I wasn't married and it didn't involve Vince. Let me state that now. But the situation was really painful. You walk around on your self-esteem because your self-esteem is at the bottom of your shoe. You're really trying to figure it out. What's wrong with me? Am I not pretty enough? Do I need to be like somebody else? There's nothing wrong with you. It's just not the relationship you're supposed to be in."
