Drake's date at the inaugural NBA Awards on Monday had many questioning- is this real or fake love?

The rapper arrived to the event with sports analyst Rosalyn Gold-Onwude as his date for the evening.

Although this had many people questioning, it is safe to say that the More Life rapper is not off the market just yet. A source told E! News that they are just friends and there is nothing more going on between them.

"They have run into each other many times through the years, but they both had other people they were involved with at that time, so they never took it to a romantic level," the source said.

They both snapped photos together throughout the night and the rapper even posted one on his Instagram account, which he had his arm wrapped around her.

"My stunning date for the evening," he captioned the photo.

Drake hosted the awards show and although he arrived with Gold-Onwude, he did not leave with her.

"He arrived to his Marquee after-party with friends, and was joined by Nicki Minaj and Nas," the source said. "They spent the night drinking Virginia Black."

The rapper and sports analyst's relationship has sparked conversation over the years.

They were seen together in a photo on Drake's Instagram in 2015.

"When the post game makes you forget about what happened during the actual game," he wrote in the post.

The Canadian rapper is reportedly not dating anyone due to his hectic schedule, however, rumors have spread that the Emmy-winning journalist may be.

Speculation arose and it has been said that Gold-Onwude was dating Kevin Durant.

"This year, there was a rumor I'm dating Kevin Durant. I'm not. I would not date any player on our team [the Golden State Warriors]," she revealed to Bauce magazine weeks ago. "It's better professionally and as far as your rapport with the guys in the locker room to not do that. I take that seriously, but it comes with the territory."
