Kelly Clarkson lost her engagement ring for a short time and was ringless when she took the stage on June 8 at the 2013 CMA Music Festival in Nashville.

The People Like Us singer, who is set to marry talent manager Brandon Blackstock on Oct. 20, kept apologizing to her fiance from the stage, according to CMT.com. Early in her performance of Stronger, Clarkson noticed she had forgotten to put on the ring. She could not avoid the oversight, and she apologized repeatedly to Blackstock from the stage.

She went on with the show and told the crowd midway through the set, "This is my first official set at a country ... thing. I've been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!"

After the show, she tweeted: "For all of the concerned fans I FOUND MY RINGS!!! Seriously, panicked in my head all night long .....so did Brandon haha!"

Earlier on June 8, Clarkson uploaded a photo on her Whosay account of herself wearing a wedding dress, with her engagement ring clearly visible, for the cover of her new single, Tie It Up. In the picture she also holds a bouquet of yellow daisys.

Kelly Clarkson revealed at the Academy of Country Music Awards on April 7 that The Voice judge Blake Shelton will both sing at, and officiate her upcoming wedding. Shelton had a hand in Clarkson's engagement and helped convince Bradstock to propose in a timely manner.

"I told Brandon, man, you need to grow up and figure out that you need to marry this girl," he said at the time.

At the festival on June 8 Clarkson also performed Tie It Up, Don't Rush and Because of You. The latter she sang accompanied only by a piano. She then introduced Jason Aldean to the stage and together they sand Don't You Wanna Stay.
