Are Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston about to come face-to-face on Jimmy Kimmel Live?

According to a new report, Jimmy Kimmel is hoping to reunite the former couple, who were married from 2000 to 2005, during a joint interview on his long-running late night talk show and the chances of the interview actually happening are “pretty good.”

"[Jimmy] is super close to Jen, but he’s also really good friends with Pitt disciples Peter Dante and David Fincher,” an insider revealed to Radar Online on August 1.

“Jimmy sent a message to Brad that he’s a welcome presence at the show, even just to hang out in the bar area backstage and schmooze,” noted the insider. “Brad is a priority for Jimmy. He wants his show to be Brad’s first stop from now on."

According to the insider, Kimmel is convinced that the time is right for Pitt and Aniston to reunite with one another due to the fact that he has reportedly been showing a “softening stance toward the whole Jen drama.”

As fans will surely recall, Pitt was accused of having an affair with Angelina Jolie in 2004 on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and in 2005, weeks after Aniston filed for divorce, Pitt and Jolie went public with their romance.

Now, over a decade later, Pitt has split from Jolie and Aniston has gotten married for a second time to husband Justin Theroux.

“Brad’s free of Angelina, and Jimmy thinks he can make this happen,” the insider told Radar. “He’s really tight with Jen and she trusts him. Jimmy will indeed be making TV history if he can pull this one off.”
