Angelina Jolie claims she was harassed by Harvey Weinstein years ago.

In an email statement released just days after news broke of the alleged sexual harassment scandal plaguing the producer and former studio head, the 42-year-old Maleficent actress spoke out against Weinstein and revealed that she had a bad experience with him as a young woman.

“I had a bad experience with Harvey Weinstein in my youth, and as a result, chose never to work with him again and warn others when they did. This behavior towards women in any field, any country is unacceptable,” she wrote, according to an October 10 report by Radar Online.

Rosanna Arquette and Judith Godrèche have also spoken out against Weinstein and claim to have had similar experiences with him. Other women have even claimed that the producer raped them, which Weinstein’s lawyer has denied.

Gwyneth Paltrow also recently went public with allegations againste Weinstein, claiming he attempted to seduce her when she was just 22-years-old.

“I was a kid, I was signed up, I was petrified,” she said.

According to Paltrow's statement, her interaction with Weinstein began after she ws summoned to his suite at the Peninsula Beverly Hills hotel in California for what was supposed to be a work meeting. As she recalled, Weinstein reportedly held out his hand to her and requested she join him for massages. Shortly therafter, Paltrow informed her then-boyfriend, Brad Pitt, and Pitt allegedly confronted Weinstein about his behavior.

“He screamed at me for a long time,” she said. “It was brutal.”

“We’re at a point in time when women need to send a clear message that this is over. This way of treating women ends now,” Paltrow added.
