Debbie Rowe will not seek custody of her daughter Paris Jackson for now, TMZ reported Friday.

Sources told the site that Paris' biological mother had no intention of challenging the teenager's co-guardians Katherine and TJ Jackson for the position unless the situation were to drastically change. It was charged that Rowe liked and respected Katherine and felt similarly. Howvever, she was concerned about TJ because he may be overwhelmed because of his own family that he has to care for.

Earlier in the week, it was reported that Rowe was considering becoming the primary caretaker of her daughter. Rowe relinquished custody of Paris and her 16-year-old brother Prince in 1999 when they were children to their late father, Michael Jackson. Following the music icon's death in 2009, Katherine and later TJ were named guardians of the teenagers as well as their youngest sibling, Blanket.

This past spring, Paris and Rowe established a relationship and Rowe visited Paris in the hospital after her alleged suicide attempt on June 5. The source told the site that Paris calls Rowe "mom" and that Rowe was able to "lay the law down". Rowe was described as wanting Paris to live with her, but did not want to separate the 15-year-old from her brothers. The insider added that 11-year-old Blanket was particularly vulnerable and felt abandoned since Michael's death.

The source also added that Michael's siblings, with the exception of Janet Jackson, were resistant to the idea of Rowe's relationship with Paris. Tanay Jackson, Paris' cousin, told E! News on Thursday that her family was not always easy to get along with.

"I've dealt with my father's side of the family. It can be tough. I bump heads with a few people there, a few people on my dad's side of the family. It's just not easy to communicate and have them understand and sometimes, it's always their way or the highway. And that's fine. But if Paris cannot deal with that situation then I would tell her you need to do what's best for her," she said.

Tanay, whose father is Tito Jackson, said that Paris should live with Rowe if that is what she wanted to do.

"So, if it makes her happy to be with her mom, once again, then that's where she needs to be. That's probably the best therapy," Tanay said.
