Cynthia Bailey is arguably Kenya Moore’s only real friend on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta. So it’s no surprise Bailey admitted she felt bad about Moore not inviting her to her secret wedding.

Moore’s surprise marriage to Marc Daly was the talk of the episode — next to former cast member Phaedra Parks’ fallout with the ladies last season. Taping started just weeks after Moore and Daly tied the knot in a ceremony overseas. But while Bailey and Moore are close on and off camera, Bailey wasn’t on the guest list. Moore did attempt to ease Bailey’s pain by letting her know that no one was invited to the big day, not even Moore’s father, as she and Daly wanted an event that would be as drama free as possible.

Still, Bailey confessed that she wasn’t happy it about in her Bravo.com blog, Monday.

“When I first heard Kenya eloped, I honestly didn’t believe it,” Bailey wrote. “I thought it was a crazy rumor! I knew that she was happily involved with someone, but I assumed that if she was that happy and was running off to St. Lucia to get married, I would have gotten a phone call!”

She went on to say that while she’s ecstatic for her friend’s new life, she wanted to be there to witness the big moment.

“Once I spoke to Kenya, and she confirmed that it was true, of course, I was beyond happy for her. However, I was a little hurt that I was not invited. I would have loved to have been there to support my beautiful friend for such a momentous and special occasion.”

Interestingly enough, this is Bailey’s first season on the show without her now ex-husband Peter Thomas. The two went their separate ways as fans saw their downfall on previous seasons of the show. While he didn’t make a physical cameo in the season premiere Sunday night, fans heard his voice after Bailey’s daughter from a previous relationship, Noelle, urged Bailey call Thomas, Noelle’s former stepfather, to see if he could attend Bailey’s 50th birthday party. While Thomas declined under the excuse that he had other obligations, Bailey also noted in her blog that they are on good terms despite their ugly breakup.

“Peter and I are in a great place. We are officially divorced, and we are friends. Once our marriage ended, it meant a lot to me to try to maintain a friendship. I pray that we will always be loving and respectful towards each other as friends. Many wonderful things came out of our relationship, and that’s what I choose to focus on. That’s how I choose to remember our marriage. I wish him nothing but peace, love, happiness, and continued blessings.”

Bailey has moved on with a new guy who will be featured this season.
