Victoria Justice released her new single Gold during the On Air With Ryan Seacrest show on Monday.

"Gold is a really fun, sassy, upbeat song," she said during the interview.

The pop song's lyrics include, "You, me, good as can be. Want to be more than your company, so bet your money on me. I'm gold."

Justice also previously confirmed that a video for the single will be coming out soon. On Sunday she posted a photo on Instagram from the video set with the caption, "Filming my music video for my 1st single Gold with @ColtonHaynes." It seems the 24-year-old Teen Wolf star will play Justice's leading man in the clip.

Gold will appear on the former Nickelodeon star's upcoming debut album. The album will include upbeat material that fans can dance to, she told Billboard in June. But, her listeners will also be able to hear a few laid-back tracks, as well.

"I'm very excited for everyone to hear my own sound and who I am as an artist," she also told Billboard about the record. "Ive been cultivating it for a while now, and I think it's definitely come time for me to reintroduce myself to people."

In February, Justice ended her role as the star of the Nickelodeon show Victorious and told Billboard that she is now focusing only on her singing career.

"It's great now that I have more free time," she said. "It was hard before because I did a movie and my TV show was going, so I couldn't really juggle all of it."

Aside from recording her debut, the 20-year-old will also embark on a the Summer Break Tour. It will kick off on June 22 in California and the last show will be on Aug. 17 in Florida. See a list of dates here.

Her first album will be released some time this year.
