Black Sabbath debuted in the No. 1 slot on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week, its first in the band's 45-year history.

The heavy metal group's album, 13, sold 155,000 copies in its first week, beating all other albums' sales. It is also the first album with lead singer Ozzy Osbourne since Never Say Die! in 1978. Billboard reported on Wednesday that they haven't even had a top 10 album since 1971's Masters of Reality.

Osbourne's venture into solo work has been more successful in the modern sales era, charting seven top 10 albums in total. His highest charting album was Black Rain in 2007, which peaked at No. 3.

Daft Punk continued its successful run on the album chart, retaining the No. 2 spot for the second week in a row. The electronic duo sold 48,000 copies of Random Access Memories, currently in its fourth week on the chart. In total, Random Access Memories has sold over 500,000 copies, meaning it is officially certified Gold.

Get Lucky, Daft Punk's first single off the album, is still in the No. 3 position on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, as it continues to be their highest charting song ever. Only Blurred Lines by Robin Thicke, Pharrell Williams and T.I. and Can't Hold Us by Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Ray Dalton stand in its way of No. 1.

Justin Timberlake's The 20/20 Experience climbed to No. 3 on the album chart this week, selling 35,000 copies. Sales were bolstered by an exclusive $6.99 iTunes store deal for the album.

Rounding out the top 5 was the debut of Big Time Rush's album 24/Seven, which sold 35,000 copies and Florida Georgia Line's Here's to the Good Times, which rose from No. 8 to No. 5 this week.

Some of the other debuts this week were the Goo Goo Dolls new album Magnetic which came in at No. 8 with 29,000 copies sold, the Man of Steel soundtrack, which came in at No. 9 and also sold 29,000 and The Lonely Island's The Wack Album, which came in at No. 10 with 28,000 sold.
