Music lovers head to your computers and vote! The 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards have been announced and several of your favorite artists are front-runners.

The Multiple Nominees

Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled, Luis Fonsi, and Rihanna are in a five-way tie with five nominations apiece. All five of them are expected to battle it out with the Song of the Year award. The Chainsmokers and Coldplay's epic collaboration "Something Just Like This" will challenge Sheeran's "Shape of You," Fonsi and Daddy Yankee's remix of "Despacito" with Justin Bieber, Mars' "That's What I Like," and DJ Khaled, Rihanna, and Bryson Tiller's "Wild Thoughts" for the award.

"Despacito," "Something Just Like This," and "Wild Thoughts" will square off against each other once again in the Best Collaboration category. The trio is also up against Maroon 5 and Kendrick Lamar's "Don't Wanna Know" and Zedd and Alessia Cara's "Stay." Cara and Rihanna are expected to face off in Female Artist. The women are up against some stiff competition in the forms of Halsey, P!nk, and Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, Mars and Sheeran are nominated for Male Artist along with Charlie Puth, Shawn Mendes, and the Weeknd.

The Tough Categories

Picking a winner from several categories could be difficult for music fans that are a part of several fan bases. Directioners will have to choose between former bandmates Liam Payne and Niall Horan, who made their solo debuts this year. Both Payne and Horan are up for the Best New Pop Artist award along with Camilla Cabello, Julia Michaels, and Logic.

Another category that would difficult for hip-hop and rap fans to pick out a clear winner might be the Best Hip-Hop Artist of the Year. The Four: Battle For Stardom expert DJ Khaled, Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and Migos are the artists selected for that category. The last group that might throw fans in a loop is R&B Artist of the Year, where Bruno Mars, Childish Gambino, Khalid, Rihanna, and the Weeknd are nominated for the award.

Grammys Versus iHeartRadio Music Awards

The biggest difference between the upcoming Grammy Awards and the IHeartRadio Music Awards is how the winners are chosen. Anyone who will receive the Gramophone award on Sunday, Jan. 28 was voted to win by the Recording Academy. Meanwhile, the iHeartRadio Music Awards give the fans the power to vote for their favorite artists.

In addition, while the Grammys will award Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Best New Artist, the iHeartRadio Music Awards will allow fans to select their winners on social media for several unique categories including Best Cover Song, Best Fan Army, and Best Remix.

The iHeartRadio Music Awards are scheduled to held on March 11 at Los Angeles' The Forum. Fans will be able to catch the action on TBS, TNT, and truTV at 8 p.m. EST and on numerous iHeartRadio stations across the country.
