The Recording Academy has just announced the complete list of nominations for the 2018 GRAMMY Awards.

For the 2017 GRAMMYS, artists: Beyonce, Adele, Drake, Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Chance the Rapper, and Ed Sheeran, dominated the main categories with Adele taking home five GRAMMY for each category she was nominated in. Following Adele, Chance the Rapper took home the award for Best New Artist, and Beyonce's visual masterpiece, Lemonade, won Best Contemporary Album.

For 2018, Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Bruno Mars are in the lead with, Jay-Z scoring eight nominations, including the major categories such as Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of The Year. Lamar is close behind with a total of seven nominations, and Mars landed six nominations.

Other mentionables inculde, Childish Gambino, who's album, Awaken, My Love will be up against, 4:44, 24K Magic, Damn and singer Lorde's album, Melodrama.

R&B singer SZA nabbed a spot in the category for Best New Artist. The Neo-soul singer is up against, Lil Uzi, Alessia Cara, Julia Michaels, and Khalid.

The song, Despacito, by Latin artist, Luis Fonsi, is the first Non-English song to be nominated for Song of the Year and Record of the Year. Despacito also features Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber. 

Finally, rapper Cardi B scored her first GRAMMY nomination in the category, Best Rap Performance, for her hit single, Bodak Yellow.
