Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's family is about to get a bit bigger with the addition of their third child.

Following the birth of North West in June 2013 and the birth of Saint West in December 2015, Kardashian and West are adding one more child, a baby girl, to their family of four. However, after the 37-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star endured two high-risk pregnancies, they are doing so via surrogate.

Although the baby's official due date has not been confirmed, a new report claims the child is expected to arrive "any day now."

"They are fully prepared and can't wait to bring their baby home," an insider told Entertainment Tonight on Jan. 10.

During her first pregnancy, Kardashian suffered from early-onset preeclampsia and was forced to give birth to her daughter North nearly six weeks early. Then, while pregnant with son Saint, Kardashian was diagnosed with placenta accreta, a condition where the placenta stays attached to the wall of the uterus.

Following her pregnancies, doctors recommended that Kardashian should not carry any more children. So, when she and her 40-year-old rapper husband decided to welcome another baby, they chose to do so with the help of a surrogate. That said, Kardashian plans to be hands-on with her new baby as soon as the child arrives.

During the upcoming birth, both Kardashian and West are expected to be in the delivery room as their surrogate gives birth to their third child. However, despite being quite open with their lives in the past, they have no plans to air the special moment on Keeping Up With the Kardashians and will continue to prioritize their surrogate's comfort, privacy, and safety.

Months ago, Kardashian opened up about her experience using a surrogate, admitting that things have been "really different."

"Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong," she said. "I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control. And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but... knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not my baby now, it's hard for me."
