The Swon Brothers may have lost The Voice but they gained experience, connections and a fan base to help propel them in their music careers.

Momentarily back in their home state of Oklahoma, the boys are taking a moment to relax before heading to out to Nashville, according to the Tulsa WorldThe Muskogee natives came in third place following the final round of the NBC reality series. However, the duo said that just making it to the finals was winning enough.

"We never would have thought that we were going to make it this far. And to know that America's got behind us and Oklahoma's got behind us like they have, it's just a blessing," Colton Swon said before the pair headed into the finale, according to The Oklahoman.

Post-TV show chaos, and following their chance to perform with Bob Seger, the boys have Coach Blake Shelton on their side.

"He's been texting us," Zach Swon said. "He can be a wise guy, but right now it's all business."

Having a country icon in their corner will be helpful for the 24-year-old and 28-eight year-old performers. However, riding their success from The Voice and making a name for themselves rests mostly on the hard work of the two musicians.

"Our success will be defined by what we do in the coming weeks and months," Colton said.

Fans will have to wait and see if the duo make it in the country scene.
