Cher and Amanda Bynes got into a short Twitter feud several weeks ago when the iconic singer admitted she didn't know who the former Nickelodeon star was. Oops!

Now Cher is now opening up about the mishap.

"I never understood the thing about not saying you're sorry because it's so easy...it doesn't take any time and it just dissolves all the bad feelings," she told E! News.  "It just lets it go, and we can't hold on to that kind of stuff. It makes you sick."

The Twitter spat started between Bynes and Cher after a fan asked the entertainer if she was upset that Bynes called her "ugly and a flop," to which Cher replied, "Who's that?"

After Bynes tweeted, "This is my twitter. I say whatever I want. Thanks!"

Cher meant no harm by the comment though, later tweeting an apology: "@AmandaBynes  You got That One Right! SORRY About shade,Sweet- Heart,it was unintentional... Promise."

Bynes has stirred up plenty of drama on her own on Twitter. This week, she ranted about everyone from her father to Drake, eventually taking aim at Miley Cyrus.

Shortly after midnight last night, Bynes tweeted a brisk message to Liam Hemsworth's fiancée: "Ur ugly @mileycyrus."

This is yet the latest Twitter tirade unleashed by Bynes, who was arrested last month after allegedly throwing a bong out of her apartment window in Manhattan.
