After Big Sean walked the red carpet at the 2013 BET Awards on Sunday with his girlfriend Naya Rivera, the rapper visited Hot 97 and gushed about the actress.

"I like her a lot. I got love for her man and she got love for me," he said on Monday. "She treats me like a king and I've never been treated like that by a girl before."

Big Sean discussed how their relationship started, saying, "I heard she thought I was cute so I was like 'oh hell yea she's fine as hell, let me try and get this.' "

After he noticed that the Glee star was following him on Twitter, Big Sean decided to message Rivera on the social network. He talked about their first date, saying the two ate at a small Italian restaurant and from that day on, he realized he liked her. They have been dating for six months.

The 25-year-old, who admitted that he's in love with Rivera, also noted that she goes "above and beyond" for him. Despite sometimes being in the studio until 4:30 a.m., Big Sean said that Rivera will wake up from her sleep and have food prepared for him when he gets home. One dish she likes to make is pasta.

"Aside from having her priorities right, she got goals, she's like determined, she's smart," he said about the actress, who he said admires his Detroit mix tape.

Big Sean has been in a serious relationship before. The rapper spoke a little bit about his ex-girlfriend, who he knew since college. While their relationship didn't work out, he said he still cares for her and it just wasn't "the right time" for them. He even said he has a song dedicated to her on his upcoming sophomore album Hall of Fame. The song is titled Ashley and features singer Miguel.

Hall of Fame will be released on Aug. 27.
