A Massachusetts apartment Aaron Hernandez rented was searched by police and turned up evidence that could potentially link the ex-New England Patriots player to the murder of Odin Lloyd, according to ABC News.

Court documents show police found clothing Hernandez was seen wearing on the surveillance footage from the night he allegedly organized Lloyd's murder. Three different calibers of ammunition, including .45 caliber round, the same kind used to kill Lloyd, were also found at the condominium Hernandez holds the lease to.

Hernandez's associate Carlos Ortiz, who allegedly helped in the murder of Lloyd, was cooperative with police after he was arrested and revealed that his pro athlete friend leased a secret apartment, according to an affidavit.

"Ortiz did confirm that he was with Aaron Hernandez on the night in question. Ortiz then went on to explain that Hernandez has another address that not many people know about,'' Massachusetts State Trooper Michael Bates wrote in the affidavit. Ortiz called it a $1,200-a-month "flop house for Hernandez,'' the affidavit states.

The master bedroom in the 599 Old West Central Street Mass., apartment contained a sweatshirt Ortiz was seen wearing in video footage from the night of Lloyd's death. Investigators also found valet parking tickets from the W Hotel. The inn is near the Rumor nightclub Hernandez and Lloyd attended just hours before he the victim was killed, and the tickets are dated for the Friday before Lloyd's early Saturday morning death.

There's no word whether police plan to search another home Hernandez is rumored to have rented in Hermosa Beach, CA. a few months back. TMZ reported Hernandez and his fiancé allegedly got into a dispute at the rental home, because the former NFL tight end refused to end a party he held at the residence from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.. In the heat of the argument, Hernandez allegedly broke one of the windows in the home by punching it and consequently sustained a gash to his wrist, which spurred his fiancé to call 911.
