AVENGERS hero Jeremy Renner finally responds amid the allegations made by his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco.

Pacheco accused the actor, among others, of threatening to kill her.

Furthermore, she also claimed that Renner put a gun in his mouth to kill himself. Renner then allegedly fired the gun into the ceiling while their daughter, Ava, was sleeping in her room.

Court documents reveal that these allegations against the 48-year-old actor -- who plays as Hawkeye in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies -- were alcohol and drug-induced.

Pacheco, a Canadian actress and model, also claimed that Renner was once overheard talking with someone in a club about killing Pacheco. Renner allegedly said that he cannot deal with her ex-wife anymore and that he wanted her to be gone.

Ava's nanny supported the accusations made by Pacheco, since she personally heard Renner telling his ex-wife that he will kill her then himself afterwards. The nanny also heard when the actor stated that it would be better to have both of them dead than to have Pacheco as Ava's mother.

She also reportedly witnessed the whole scene where the actor put a gun in his mouth while threatening her ex-wife about killing himself, then firing the gun into the ceiling -- just like what Pacheco said on papers filed on court.

Moreover, Pacheco revealed that the Avengers: Endgame actor has a history of substance abuse, and has verbally and emotionally abused her multiple times in the past.

In a report by TMZ, however, a representative from Renner's camp released a statement denying the accusation made by Jeremy's ex-wife.

"The well-being of his daughter Ava has always been and continues to be the primary focus for Jeremy. This is a matter for the court to decide. It's important to note the dramatizations made in Sonni's declaration are a one-sided account made with a specific goal in mind."

A Battle for Ava's Custody

Renner and Pacheco got married five years ago, but their marriage lasted for only 10 months due to 'irreconcilable differences.' After their divorce in 2014, the unpleasant legal clash for their daughter started.

The former couple are now in a legal battle to obtain the sole custody of their now-six-year-old daughter.

In a report made by People, it was confirmed that Renner and Pacheco first agreed to share the custody as long as the actor supports his daughter with $13,000 per month, plus a five percent share if the actor makes $2.3 million annually. Last year, the actor paid $292,000, which served as additional support for Ava after earning $11.4 million in the same year.

Last September 2019, Ava's mother filed a request to the Superior Court of Los Angeles, California regarding her petition to have the solitary legal and physical custody of their child. In addition, she requested to monitor her ex-husband whenever the actor is with their daughter to secure her safety.

A court hearing is set to take place on November 7. The two are also ordered by the court to attend child custody mediation.
