A brand new teaser poster has just circulated on Marvel's highly anticipated sequel, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, just in time for next week's annual Comic-Con convention, which will take place in San Diego, Ca.

The respective image seems to indicate that Captain America (Chris Evans) will be facing his share of roughhousing from the movie's antagonists, as his shield appears to be heavily marked up and faded.

The future flick was penned by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. It will be shooting in Washington, D.C., Cleveland, and Los Angeles.

In other recent Captain America news, photos were posted on the web on June 13, as Evans' Captain America and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) were shown filming some intimate moments inside a mall.

One of the pics shows the two walking alongside each other while another reveals Johansson gazing into Evans' eyes.  However, in the juiciest of all the still shots, the onscreen twosome can be seen locking lips while riding an escalator.

Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier is slated to hit theaters across the U.S. on Friday, April 4, 2014.  Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the program.
