An Ohio man accused Justin Bieber of spitting in his face during a confrontation on July 13 after the singer thought his pictures were secretly being taken, TMZ reported.

The man is a DJ and performed at the Social Room on Park Street in Columbus, Ohio, earlier that evening. He called into the radio station Dave and Jimmy on WNCI to explain his encounter with the 19-year-old Beauty and a Beat singer. The man, who was not identified by name in news reports, said the trouble begin the in VIP room of the place.

"Two of Bieber's bouncers approached me and said I was trying to take pictures of Bieber," the DJ said.

Bieber's people allegedly grabbed his phone and started scrolling through its images looking for pictures of the singer, but did not find any. Nevertheless, the man claimed that the bouncers told Bieber the DJ was trying to take pictures of him. Bieber approached him moments later and yelled a couple of "choice words" at the DJ, he said.

"He called my mom something, called my dad something, called me something ... and spit in my face."

The DJ said he thinks Bieber got hostile because it was a 21 and over night in the club and the singer is underage. Bieber turned 19 in March. The man told the gossip website he plans on filing charges against the Canadian star. He added that he was tested for hepatitis and the tests came back negative.

Bieber's rep refused to comment on the allegations. However, a source in the singer’s camp told the website, "Everything's been going really well on the tour and it's just really sad that someone would copycat others' baseless claims just to try and get attention for themselves."
