FOX's American Idol Season 12 winner Candice Glover showed off her recent weight loss when she sang the National Anthem at a baseball game in New York on July 16.

Glover, 23, sang at the MLB All-Star Game at Citi Field Stadium, home of the New York Mets baseball team in Queens, New York. Neil Diamond and Marc Anthony also performed at Citi Field for the first time. Diamond sang his charity single, Freedom Song, (They'll Never Take Us Down) which benefits victims from the Boston Marathon Bombings. Anthony delivered his rendition of God Bless America during the 7th inning stretch on Tuesday, according to Newsday.

Glover opened up about her 30-pound weight loss to PEOPLE last week, during rehearsals for the American Idol Live! 2013 Tour.

The 23-year-old revealed that she first dropped 20 pounds between January and May this year. She lost another 10 pounds after she was crowned the winner of Season 12 on May 16.

Glover said she didn't lose the weight through dieting and exercise, but instead from her busy lifestyle. She admitted she is happy to be healthier from shedding a few pounds.

"It is always good to be healthy, so I am happy about it," Glover told PEOPLE. "I've always - well maybe I haven't always - been comfortable with who I am. This weight is just dropping off because of my crazy schedule."

Glover will perform at the American Idol Live! 2013 Tour when it launches on July 19. Her debut album, Music Speaks, which will feature the single, I Am Beautiful, will be released on Oct. 8. Pre-orders for the album can be purchased at a discounted price of $7.99 through her website, candiceglover-official.com.
