In a July 20 article, British actress Lily Collins talked with Yahoo! at the San Diego Comic-Con about the difficulty she had to running in five inch heels for her new fantasy movie The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

"Doing stunts in a basic top that's a dress and 5-inch, leather thigh-high boots, that's not normal," the 24-year-old said. "That's not easy. I didn't have any injuries, though. That was great."

Collins plays Clary in the film based on the popular book by Cassandra Clare. Collins' co-stars include Jamie Campbell Bower, Kevin Zegers, Robert Sheehan and Godfrey Gao. In the movie, which hits theaters Aug. 21, Collins' character decides she is destined to become a demon hunter. A follow-up for the movie is already in pre-production.

The actress wore a Paper London mid-thigh black and white patterned skirt with a matching crop top to Comic-Con.

"Running around in heels, being able to do all that and not injuring myself is kind of a boost of confidence," Collins said.

Collins is the daughter of musician Phil Collins and starred in The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock. Collins also starred as Snow White in Mirror Mirror opposite Julia Roberts.

Collins is also known for her iconic eyebrows and trendsetting outfits.
