Rick Ross had a few words to say about DJ Khaled's alleged proposal to rapper Nicki Minaj.

"I know Khaled. That's been my brother. I know he's been infatuated with Nicki. I guess we all got to sit back and wait," Ross told Los Angeles radio station 106 FM on Friday.

During the show, the 37-year-old also viewed DJ Khaled's proposal for the first time. After seeing the video and the 10-carat engagement ring Khaled had for Minaj, Ross said he doesn't think it's a fluke.

"If you spend a half-a-million dollars, you're dead, dead serious," Ross said.

The Maybach Music star said he was also aware of the speculation that Khaled was planning to propose to the High School singer during the Take It To The Head video shoot.

The song is the lead single off of DJ Khaled's sixth studio album Kiss The Ring and it features Minaj, Ross, Chris Brown and Lil Wayne. The video was released in March 2012.

"It was some chatter going around, but I can't say that I knew," Ross said. "You know, we get there, you hear certain things. I really didn't absorb a lot of stuff but there was some chatter."

Whether it's true or not, Ross said he will be giving his blessing.

On Thursday, Khaled proposed to Minaj via an MTV News video.

"Nicki Minaj, I'm at MTV, I'm want to be honest with you, I love you, I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine," he told his YMCMB labelmate. "I'm here at MTV because it's a worldwide network and the only reason why I'm not telling you this face to face is because I understand that you are busy."

"We got the same symptoms, we're both suffering from success," he continued. "If you gotta take your time and think about it, I understand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me."

Minaj has yet to comment on the incident.
