William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti to Star in New Peacock Thriller-Comedy 'The Resort'! Here's What We Know!

William Jackson Harper and Cristin Milioti are set to star in their own Peackock series.

The Good Place and Love Life actor will star alongside the Palm Springs actress in a new Peacock series titled The Resort. The series will be a comedy-thriller, much like the very popular murder-comedy genre. According to an article on The Hollywood Reporter, the show will depict two timelines at the same time within the series's eight episode arc. One timeline will take place in the present day. The second timeline will take place fifteen years before that.

Harper and Milioti will play a married couple. Harper will take on the role of Noah, a contented teacher. Milioti will play the role of Emma who is also a teacher but is discontented with the mundanity of life. When they are on their anniversary trip, they end up facing consequences and situations that are happening due to events that occurred in the second timeline, fifteen years prior. Through this knotted back and forth, the show is able to explore the complexities of relationships in a gripping and facinating way.

Alongside this powerhouse duo, the rest of the ensamble is equally stacked. The cast includes The Righteous Gemstones's Skylar Gisondo, High Maintenance's Ben Sinclair, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's Cheena are just some of the incredibly talented members of the cast. Ben Sinclair is also set to direct several episodes of this upcoming series.
