Lisa Barlow says that her friend and former co-star on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City Jennie Nguyen should get a second chance to be on the show, which is...a VERY hot take.

The season finale of this season of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City aired yesterday. After this season wrapped filming, one of the wives, Jennie Nguyen was fired due to disparaging and racist social media posts made during the height of the Black Lives Matter protests in the summer of 2020.

Bravo fired Nguyen after these posts were made, but, as the series had already finished filming for the season, she was included in the entierty of this year's show.

In an exclusive with TMZ, Lisa Barlow, another star of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, said that she believed Nguyen deserved a second chance to be on the show and that Nguyen had always been kind to her. She said:

"I think that everyone in life deserves a second chance. That's what we're trying to do. Just be a little bit better every single day, and hopefully we learn from our mistakes and don't make them again. But I think that's how we learn. Sometimes we have to make mistakes to learn."

In this interview, Barlow gave answers in the balanced manner of someone who has spent a lot of time in front of the camera. When listening back, it can be noted that she did not actually give any direct answers about her opinions on the firing, her relationship with Jennie, or what she believes going forward. This may also be due to the chaotic end-of-season that Lisa herself experienced during the show's run.
