Lucien Laviscount will officially be a series regular in season three of the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris.

Emily in Paris has become a wander-lust rom-com fan favorite series over the past two years. The show, starring Lily Collins, has accumulated a major fan base closely following Emily's story to see what (or, more franky, WHO) she will do in Paris. The answer to the parenthetical question is becoming suspiciously apparent as Lucien Laviscount has, according to an article on Deadline, been promoted to a series regular for season three of the show.

Laviscount's character was introduced only briefly in season two. He plays the banker, Alfie, reluctantly sitting in her French class. In season two, we watched as their relationship grew from antagonistic to romantic, quickly ending when Emily rushes back to tell Gabriel how she feels (only to find his ex-girlfriend has moved back in.)

We are excited to see where his character goes in season three. Laviscount is a perfect fit in the cast. While he shared that he was nervous to join an already established group in season two, the actor said the ensamble could not have been more welcoming. In an interview with Haper's Bazaar he shared:

I was the new kid in school coming in for the second season. Everyone's kind of created their bonds with each other. But honestly, my first day, Lily just threw her arms around me, and from there, it was an immediate welcome to the family, which was so lovely. They really made me feel at home, and they're all just so professional. And it all comes down from the lead to be honest; Lily is so humble. She's a leader and she works really hard, and you go on set and she knows everyone's names. She's a real thespian, but at the same time, a real fun person, and that just filters down through everyone. She's the person you want at the helm of the ship for sure.

We can't wait for Emily in Paris season three!
