Kim Kardashian has responded to criticism she was getting over the weekend.

What was the criticism about this time, you may ask?

People are saying that the celebrity photo-shopped her belly button out of her pictures over the weekend.

The SKIMS founder posted pictures of herself over the weekend standing next to a pool, promoting her SKIMS products. The caption of the photo read, "Sunday in my @skims."

However, in a response that was definitely not even in the realm of what she expected, many took to the comments section to alert the world to the presence - or rather, lack of presence - of her belly button. Critics called her out, claiming that the The Kardashians star photo-shopped her belly button out of the picture. (For some reason.)

The businesswoman is not standing for this. Kardashian posted the pictures to her Instagram story and wrote:

"Come on guys... Seriously! This is so dumb! Claiming I photo-shopped out my belly button????"

As many of the commentors have pointed out, this accusation is a bit insane. First of all, why does anyone care whether or not it was photo-shopped?

But also, secondly...

This issue raises what we believe to be an even MORE important question: Do people understand *where* a belly button is? Based on what she is wearing, it makes perfect sense that her belly button would be covered. As one commentor pointed out, "Her belly button is cover by skims I mean where do you want her belly button to be under her boobs?" (sic.)

PSA: Leave Kim K and her very existent belly button alone.
