LMFAO, Black Eyed Peas Listed Among Billboard Top 10 Songs of All Time, 'The Twist' No. 1 [VIDEOS]

Billboard announced the top 10 on their list of Top 100 Songs of All Time on Friday, which included two modern-day songs among classics.

The music tracking company announced the songs that ranked No. 10-1 on their all-time list, using the 55-year Billboard Hot 100 chart as a basis.

Electronic dance music duo LMFAO came in at No. 5 on the all-time list for their mega-hit song Party Rock Anthem feat. Lauren Bennett and GoonRock. The song spent six weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart in 2011 and stayed on the chart for 68 weeks, from 2011-2012.

Hip-hop group The Black Eyed Peas was ranked No. 6 on the all-time list for their 2009 single, I Gotta Feeling. Spending 14 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 chart, the song made the Fergie/will.i.am group the most successful artists of 2009. Before I Gotta Feeling, their song Boom Boom Pow stayed at the top of the chart for 12 weeks, meaning they were on top for 26 straight weeks, a Billboard record.

However, neither song was a match for Billboard's No. 1 Song of All-Time: The Twist, by Chubby Checker. Though the song was only No. 1 for three weeks, it became the only song in Billboard history to reach No. 1 in two different chart runs: 1960 and 1962.

Legendary rock band The Beatles came in at No. 10 on the all-time chart with their most successful single, Hey Jude. The song spent nine weeks at the top of the Hot 100 chart in 1968, the longest Beatles song to do so.

Other singles to chart in the top 10 were Smooth by Santana feat. Rob Thomas (No. 2), Mack the Knife by Bobby Darin (No. 3), How Do I Live by LeAnn Rimes (No. 4), Macarena by Los Del Rio (No. 7), Physical by Olivia Newton-John (No. 8) and You Light Up My Life by Debby Boone (No. 9).
